As a new owner, you should already have a good deal of “paper” that comes with ownership. If you are a resident, but not an owner, you should also have received copies of this paperwork for your review. To ensure that you have all the information you need, here is a list of important items:

Rules & Regulations

This document covers more of the day-to-day issues that come up. These issues include things like important phone numbers, trash info and fee collection. As with the other document, compliance is necessary so it important to be familiar with this document.

By-Laws

The By-Laws are arguably the most important documents to you as an owner or resident. They detail the daily workings of your community and outlines your rights and responsibilities. Since it is required that all owners and residents comply with the By-Laws, it is essential that you take the time and effort to become familiar with the contents of the Amendments. If you have any questions or concerns with anything within the By-Laws or the accompanying amendments, contact the Management immediately.

Master Deed

This is the document that specifies the technical details of the building and how it is used. While it isn't necessary in normal day-to-day life to be familiar with the content within, we highly recommend you read this document at least once as all residents are required to be in compliance with the Master Deed at all times.
