Dec 10, 2011 - Shipping Boxes and Christmas Trees
Dear Unit Owners and Residents,
As the holiday season commences, many of us will have additional trash and recycling considerations we’ll need to observe. Here are some things to remember.
- Shipping Boxes - Must be broken down and placed in the recycling bins outside. Cardboard is not permitted in the dumpster per city ordinance.
- Christmas Trees - On January 13, 2012, Salem’s citywide curbside Christmas Tree Collection will take place.
After 6pm on the night before, place your tree on the Northend Ave or Symonds St curb for pickup.
Pine needles in the common areas must be cleaned up promptly by the unit owner. - Wrapping Paper, Gift Boxes, etc. – The City of Salem reminds us: “Tear it, Recycle it”.
All wrapping paper, gift boxes and anything that tears must be recycled and cannot be placed in the dumpster.
If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact the management at 978-744-3200 and please note that these and all rules continue to be strictly enforced.
Thank you for you cooperation with making this process hassle-free for everyone.
Thank you,
